Hama 00205231 kabel-splitter/combiner zilver

The Hama 00205231 cable splitter distributes a single cable signal to multiple outputs across a wide frequency range of 5–2400 MHz. Finished in silver with F-type connectors, the splitter is intended for use in cable TV, satellite and multimode RF setups where a stable, low-loss connection is required. Its compact housing and standardized connectors make it compatible with common coaxial cables and consumer AV equipment.

Advantages

This splitter covers a broad frequency band from 5 to 2400 MHz, enabling use with terrestrial TV, cable systems and many satellite and broadband signals. The F-type connectors provide secure threaded connections to minimize accidental disconnection and signal degradation. The silver metal housing offers mechanical protection for the internal circuitry and can be easily integrated into home or professional AV installations.

How to use

Connect the incoming coaxial cable carrying the signal to the splitter's input connector, then attach coaxial cables from the splitter's output connectors to the receiving devices. Ensure all F-type connectors are threaded tightly by hand to secure a reliable electrical and mechanical connection. Place the splitter in a dry, ventilated location and avoid sharp bends or stress on the connected coaxial cables to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use high-quality coaxial cables and maintain short cable runs where possible. If signal loss or reception issues occur after splitting, consider using an active distribution amplifier or checking cable terminations and connectors for proper contact.
