Haakse slijper Metabo 613052850

The Metabo 613052850 angle grinder is a compact cordless tool designed for grinding and cutting tasks. It accepts a 12.5 cm (125 mm) grinding disc and delivers up to 10,000 RPM no-load speed. The tool is powered by an 18V Lithium Polymer battery and features a brushless motor and overload protection, combining light weight with robust performance. At 1.8 kg and finished in Metabo's green and black colour scheme, this grinder is suitable where mobility and manageable weight are required.

Advantages

The brushless motor provides higher efficiency, reduced maintenance and longer runtime compared with brushed designs. The 18V Lithium Polymer battery offers consistent power delivery and quick recharging cycles when paired with compatible chargers. Overload protection helps prevent damage to the motor and electronics under heavy load. The compact housing and 1.8 kg weight improve handling and reduce user fatigue during extended use.

Suitable for

• Cutting metal parts and pipes
• Grinding welds and sharp edges
• Removing rust and paint from metal surfaces
• Light masonry cutting and surface preparation
• On-site maintenance and repair tasks where portability is required

How to use

Ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly inserted before operation. Fit a compatible 12.5 cm grinding or cutting disc according to the disc manufacturer's instructions, secure the guard, and check that the disc is undamaged. Hold the tool with both hands and start the grinder at no load to confirm smooth rotation before applying it to the workpiece. Use steady pressure and move the tool along the cut or grind line; avoid forcing the disc into the material. Allow the grinder to come to a complete stop before setting it down and remove the battery when changing discs or performing maintenance.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as eye protection, hearing protection and work gloves. Select discs rated for the specified RPM and intended material. For prolonged or heavy-duty applications, monitor the motor temperature and allow periodic cooling to engage overload protection as needed. Store the tool and batteries in a dry environment and follow Metabo's instructions for battery care to maximise service life.
