Glasvezelkabel DeLOCK 85128 2m LC blauw

This fibre optical cable by DELOCK, model 85128, is a 2 m OM3 multimode patch cable with LC connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter. It is designed for high-speed data transmission between network devices such as SFP modules, NICs, switches and media converters. The cable uses a shared sheath and boot for both fibres, reducing space requirements and simplifying installation in dense cabling environments.

Advantages

The cable provides OM3 multimode performance suitable for short- to medium-range high-bandwidth links and uses standardized LC connectors on both ends for broad compatibility. A single shared sheath and boot house both fibres, improving cable routing and density. The blue colour coding aids visual identification and cable management.

Suitable for

• Connecting NICs with SFP modules to switches
• Patch connections in server rooms and rack cabinets
• Linking media converters to network equipment
• High-density cabling installations where space saving is required

Key specifications

• Length: 2 m
• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC – LC

How to use

Ensure both ends are free of dust and contaminants before connecting. Insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC port on the devices until the latch clicks. Use the extractor lever to disengage connectors when unplugging, especially in high-density panels. Route the cable without sharp bends to maintain the specified bend radius and avoid strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Store and handle the OM3 fibre cable carefully: keep dust caps on when not in use, clean endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools, and avoid tight bends or excessive pulling to preserve performance and lifetime.
