Glasvezelkabel DeLOCK 1m LC-SC 84609

The DeLOCK 1m LC-SC fibre optic cable is designed for high-speed data transmission between networking devices. It uses OS2 single-mode fibre with a 9 µm core diameter and supports full duplex communication. The 1 metre length is suitable for short interconnections in data centres, racks or network equipment setups; the yellow jacket aids cable identification and organisation.

Advantages

The LC-SC 1 m cable provides reliable single-mode transmission with low attenuation thanks to its OS2 fibre type and 9 µm core. Full duplex support allows simultaneous send and receive channels. The standardized LC and SC connectors ensure compatibility with SFP modules, switches and media converters. The compact 1 m length reduces excess slack in rack and cabinet installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting a NIC with an SFP module to a switch
• Linking media converters to network equipment
• Short fibre runs in data centres, server racks or patch panels

Key specifications

• Length: 1 m
• Connector A: LC
• Connector B: SC
• Fibre type: OS2 (single-mode)
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Duplex: Full duplex
• Colour: Yellow
• Brand: DELOCK, MPN: 84609, EAN: 4043619846092

How to use

Inspect connectors for dust or damage before use. Insert the LC connector into the corresponding LC port of the SFP module or NIC and the SC connector into the SC port of the switch or media converter until each connector clicks or seats securely. Ensure correct orientation for transmit and receive channels to maintain full duplex operation. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep connector endfaces clean using appropriate fibre cleaning tools and avoid bending the cable below its minimum bend radius. Use the 1 m length for short, direct links inside racks or between adjacent devices to reduce excess cabling.
