Equip 48-poorts Cat.6 afgeschermd patchpanel, lichtgrijs

The equip® Patch Panel is a 19" 1U Cat.6 shielded network distribution unit in light grey, designed for efficient rack-mounted cable management. It provides 48 shielded RJ45 ports compatible with 10/100/1000Base-T(X) Ethernet and supports a maximum data transfer rate of 1000 Mbit/s. The metal chassis measures 482.6 mm × 44.5 mm × 110.5 mm (W × D × H) and each port is clearly numbered for easy identification.

Advantages

The panel combines a compact 1U form factor with a durable metal construction and integrated cable management, offering improved routing and strain relief for shielded installations. Compatibility with both LSA and 110 termination standards allows flexible installation, while the shielded RJ45 ports help maintain signal integrity in environments prone to electromagnetic interference.

Suitable for

• Rack-mounted network cabinets and server rooms
• Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T(X)) patching
• Shielded structured cabling installations (Cat.6)
• Data centers, wiring closets and small to medium enterprise networks

How to use

Mount the patch panel into a 19" rack using the front mounting holes and secure with appropriate rack screws. Terminate incoming shielded Cat.6 cables to the rear connectors using either LSA or 110 termination tools according to installer preference and local cabling standards. Connect shielded patch cords to the front RJ45 ports for device connectivity, and ensure the panel's shield is properly grounded to preserve shielding effectiveness.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use equip® shielded patch cords and maintain consistent shielding and grounding throughout the cabling system. Label both ends of installed cables and avoid sharp bends or excessive tension to preserve signal quality and equipment longevity.
