Draadborstel KWB 609830 7,5 cm

The KWB 609830 wire wheel brush (diameter 7.5 cm, shank 6 mm) is a crimped stainless steel-wire wheel designed for mechanical derusting, cleaning and removal of surface coatings. It is suitable for work on metal, stainless steel, wood and stone and for narrow or hard-to-reach areas such as edges, frames, grilles, railings and pipes. The design minimises transfer of rust stains to the workpiece and is intended for use with compatible rotary tools and drills for outdoor and general maintenance tasks.

Advantages

Crimped stainless steel wire ensures effective removal of rust, paint and scale while maintaining a degree of surface finishing; compact 7.5 cm diameter and 6 mm shank allow access to narrow zones; robust construction for repeated use; designed to reduce rust marking on treated surfaces.

How to use

Fit the 6 mm shank into a compatible rotary tool or drill chuck and secure it firmly. With the tool running at the manufacturer-recommended speed for the brush type, apply the wheel to the workpiece with light, even pressure and move steadily along the surface. Avoid excessive force or lateral flexing of the wheel. Stop periodically to inspect the work progress and to prevent overheating of the substrate.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves and respiratory protection if dust is produced). Select a suitable rotational speed for stainless steel wire brushes, keep steady hand control, and test on a small area first. Do not use on delicate finishes or materials that may be damaged by stainless steel wire abrasion.
