DeLOCK glasvezelkabel LC duplex naar SC duplex singlemode OS2 2 m

DeLOCK Fiber Optical Cable LC Duplex to SC Duplex Singlemode OS2 2 m is a 2 metre singlemode patch cable with LC duplex connector on one end and SC duplex connector on the other. It supports full duplex data transmission and is intended for singlemode OS2 networks where reliable high-speed links are required. The cable features a metal armouring that increases resistance to mechanical damage and environmental influences while keeping the cable bendable and flexible.

Advantages

The metal armouring provides enhanced protection against moisture, dust and rodent damage without compromising flexibility. LC to SC duplex termination enables easy connection between devices with LC or SC ports, such as switches and media converters. The OS2 singlemode fibre is suitable for long-distance, high-speed signal transmission and offers good tensile strength for robust installations.

How to use

Route the cable between the devices to be connected, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension. Insert the LC duplex connector into the LC port and the SC duplex connector into the SC port until each connector latches or seats securely. Verify proper alignment of transmit and receive channels for full duplex operation. Secure the cable as needed to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, avoid repeated tight bends and do not subject the cable to excessive pulling force. Use the metal-armoured cable in installations where additional physical protection is required, and ensure connectors are clean before mating to maintain optimal signal quality.
