Converter USB Type-C naar SFF-8643 DeLOCK 64093

The DeLOCK Converter USB Type-C to SFF-8643 (model 64093) enables connection of SFF-8643 devices such as U.2 NVMe SSDs or M.2 SSDs to a computer via a USB Type-C port using appropriate cables. Designed primarily for testing and temporary access, the compact adapter supports high-speed data transfer and is compatible with common operating systems.

Advantages

The adapter supports SuperSpeed USB 10 Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen 2) for fast data transfer. It provides a USB Type-C host interface and an SFF-8643 output interface, offering broad compatibility with U.2 and certain M.2 setups when used with the correct cable. Its small dimensions (84 × 41 × 16 mm) and two-tone green/black design make it portable and easy to integrate into test environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting U.2 NVMe SSDs to a PC or laptop for testing
• Accessing M.2 SSDs via appropriate SFF-8643 cabling for diagnostics
• Temporary data transfer or drive cloning where SFF-8643 to USB Type-C conversion is needed

Ensure the operating system recognizes the drive; if necessary, install drivers or use system tools for drive initialization and formatting. Use the adapter for testing, data access, cloning, or short-term transfers rather than as a permanent internal connection.

Recommendations

Use high-quality, compatible SFF-8643 and USB Type-C cables to achieve the specified SuperSpeed USB 10 Gbps. Avoid using the adapter in environments with heavy mechanical stress or as a substitute for permanent internal connections.
