Coaxconnector F-type ShiverPeaks BS85300-10

The ShiverPeaks BS85300-10 Coaxial Connector F-type is a single, compact adapter designed to provide a stable connection between standard F-type coaxial cables. Constructed to maintain signal integrity for audio and video transmission, this connector suits installations where a reliable inline coupling is required. It is supplied as an individual unit and is compatible with common coaxial cable terminations used in consumer and professional AV and RF systems.

Advantages

Engineered for durability, the connector uses materials and mechanical design that reduce mechanical wear and preserve contact quality over repeated connections. Its F-type coupling minimizes insertion loss and ensures consistent impedance matching with standard coaxial lines. The compact form factor allows installation in confined spaces and inline repair or extension of existing coaxial runs without re-terminating cable ends.

Suitable for

• Joining two F-type coaxial cables in home AV systems
• Extending cable runs for television and satellite installations
• Temporary or permanent inline repairs of coaxial cable connections
• Connecting cables in CCTV and other RF distribution systems

Key specifications

• Connector type: F-type female to F-type female inline coupler
• Applications: analog and digital audio/video, RF signal distribution
• Impedance: designed for 75 ohm coaxial systems
• Form factor: compact inline adapter for tight installation spaces
• Construction: corrosion-resistant contact surfaces and mechanically robust housing

How to use

To use the F-type coaxial connector, align the threaded ends with the male F-type plugs on each coaxial cable and screw the connector clockwise until hand-tight. Ensure the cable cores are properly centered and that the cable shielding makes good contact with the connector body. Avoid overtightening with tools to prevent damage to threads or deforming the connector. After installation, verify signal quality at the receiving device and check for secure mechanical connection.

Recommendations

For best signal performance, use this connector with properly prepared RG-6 or RG-59 type coaxial cables and avoid unnecessary additional coupling points in critical RF paths. Periodically inspect connections for corrosion or looseness in outdoor or high-humidity environments and replace connectors that show degradation.
