Coax connector ShiverPeaks BS82031

The ShiverPeaks BS82031 coaxial connector is a single-piece IEC-to-IEC adapter designed to provide a reliable connection for audio and video equipment that use standard coaxial IEC connectors. Engineered for consistent signal transfer, this adapter features an IEC-form connector on both ends with a male gender on one side, enabling straightforward coupling with compatible female IEC sockets. The compact form factor and solid construction make it suitable for installations where a short, direct link between coaxial cables or devices is required.

Advantages

This IEC-to-IEC coaxial connector offers stable electrical contact and a straightforward mechanical fit that reduces signal loss at the connection point. Its single-piece design simplifies installation and handling, while the male-to-IEC mating configuration ensures compatibility with widely used coaxial sockets. The connector’s compact dimensions allow it to be used in confined spaces and to integrate easily into existing AV setups without adding bulk.

Suitable for

• Connecting TV or radio equipment with IEC coaxial sockets
• Linking coaxial leads between set-top boxes, tuners and televisions
• Short in-line connections in home AV and media installations
• Temporary or permanent adapter use in service and repair tasks

Key specifications

• Connector types: IEC on both ends (one side male)
• Quantity: 1 piece per pack
• Application: coaxial RF signal coupling for audio/video systems
• Form factor: compact inline adapter suitable for confined spaces
• Mounting style: inline, cable-to-device or device-to-device coupling

How to use

To use the ShiverPeaks BS82031, align the male IEC end with the corresponding female IEC socket and push gently until the connector seats securely. Connect the opposite IEC end to the mating female connector of the cable or device. Verify the fit is firm and that cables are routed without excessive bending to maintain signal integrity. For disconnection, pull the adapter straight out from the socket to avoid stressing the connector or cable.

Recommendations

Use this adapter for short, direct connections and avoid applying excessive torque when tightening or seating the connector. Keep connectors clean and dry, and inspect contacts periodically for corrosion or damage to ensure long-term signal reliability.
