Chieftec AF-0925PWM computerkoelsysteem computercaseventilator zwart

The CHIEFTEC Fan Chieftec AF-0925PWM is a 92 mm computer case fan designed to provide targeted airflow and temperature control for desktop systems. Finished in black, it integrates PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) speed control to match cooling performance to system demands, allowing quieter operation at low loads and higher airflow when needed. The fan is suitable for use in gaming PCs, workstations and general-purpose desktops where efficient case ventilation or component airflow is required.

Advantages

The AF-0925PWM combines compact dimensions with PWM control to deliver flexible cooling that adapts to workload changes. Its black housing offers a neutral appearance that fits most cases, while PWM support enables motherboard- or controller-based automatic speed regulation for balanced noise and airflow. The fan’s design focuses on consistent airflow management and straightforward integration into existing systems.

Suitable for

• Case ventilation in compact and mid-tower desktops
• Supplementary airflow for CPU cooler shrouds and GPU zones
• Quiet systems that require variable-speed fans driven by PWM headers
• Workstations and small-form-factor gaming rigs with limited mounting space

Key specifications

• Fan size: 92 mm
• Control: PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) for variable speed
• Colour: Black housing and blades
• Mounting: Standard 4-hole case fan mounting pattern
• Application: Case ventilation and component airflow

How to use

Install the fan in an appropriate case fan position using the four mounting points and screws. Connect the fan’s power cable to a motherboard PWM fan header or a compatible fan controller to enable automatic speed regulation. Verify correct airflow direction before securing the fan; typically, airflow moves from the intake side (open frame) toward the side with the frame supports. After installation, monitor system temperatures and adjust fan curves in BIOS or software if necessary to optimize noise and cooling balance.

Recommendations

For best results, place the AF-0925PWM where it improves overall case airflow — as an intake at the front or an exhaust at the rear/top depending on your case layout. Use a motherboard header that supports PWM control to take advantage of automatic speed adjustments. Regularly check for dust buildup and clean blades to maintain airflow efficiency.
