How to use

Install the sensor in a representative location where ambient light should be measured, avoiding direct exposure to concentrated artificial light sources or strong reflections. Connect and configure the device according to the smart-home or roller-shutter controller instructions, assigning the sensor input to the desired lighting or shading functions. Adjust threshold values and control logic in the central system to match room usage and daylight conditions. Periodically verify sensor positioning and clean the housing to maintain accurate readings.

Recommendations

Place the sensor away from direct sunlight and local lamps to avoid skewed readings; for consistent performance, mount it at typical wall height and integrate it into the building automation system for coordinated control of lighting and blinds.
