Bosch doorgangsboor SDS Max-9 Break Through

Drill bit Bosch Breakthrough SDS Max-9 Break Through is a single heavy-duty rotary-hammer bit designed for drilling large and deep holes in concrete and masonry. With a diameter of 80 mm and length of 1000 mm, the long tapered shank allows breakthrough drilling while the two-flute U-shaped body improves dust removal during operation. This bit is intended for use with SDS Max rotary hammers and requires matching hammer capacity to avoid overload.

Advantages

The long tapered shank enables controlled breakthrough drilling into concrete. The 2-flute U-shaped design enhances removal of drilled material and dust from deep holes. Constructed for rotary-hammer operation, the bit provides stable drilling performance for heavy-duty applications when paired with a suitably powered hammer.

Suitable for

• Drilling large-diameter holes in reinforced concrete
• Creating deep anchor or sleeve holes in masonry
• Breakthrough drilling through thick concrete elements

Key specifications

• Brand: Bosch
• Model / MPN: 1618596462
• EAN: 3165140022026
• Type: SDS Max rotary-hammer drill bit
• Diameter: 80 mm
• Length: 1000 mm

How to use

Fit the SDS Max-9 Break Through bit into an SDS Max rotary hammer according to the tool manufacturer's instructions. Start drilling at low speed to position the bit, then apply steady hammering action and moderate feed pressure. For breakthrough drilling, allow the long tapered shank to progress through the material while maintaining alignment. Stop periodically to clear dust if necessary and inspect the bit and tool for wear.

Recommendations

Always use a rotary hammer with suitable capacity for breakthrough drill bits to avoid motor overload. Follow the rotary hammer operating instructions and wear appropriate personal protective equipment when drilling.
