Bijlgereedschap Gedore 1879812

Ochsenkopf OX 620 H-1257 (Gedore 1879812) is a universal forestry axe suitable for woodworking and gardening. The axe head is fine-polished and supplied with a blade-protection. A high-quality hickory handle and a patented ROTBAND-PLUS handle joint provide a secure connection between head and handle. A long steel handle sleeve protects the handle from impact damage and extends service life. A spare handle is delivered complete with sleeve, tapered collar, fixing plate and wood screw to convert compatible axe models to the ROTBAND-PLUS system.

Advantages

The ROTBAND-PLUS joint (handle sleeve, tapered collar, fixing plate and wood screw) bonds the hammer head and handle into a single secure unit to improve safety. The long steel handle sleeve reduces the risk of handle damage if the axe misses the target, increasing durability. The axe head is finely polished and comes with blade protection for safe storage and transport. The supplied hickory handle offers a comfortable grip and balanced handling. A complete spare handle allows conversion of compatible OX 20 axes (1000 g and 1250 g) to the ROTBAND-PLUS system.

Suitable for

Recommendations

Inspect the head-to-handle connection regularly and keep the blade protected when not in use. Replace the handle following manufacturer guidance if any looseness, cracks or impact damage appear. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, eye protection, sturdy footwear) and maintain the axe blade sharpness and protective cover for safe operation.
