AMD Wraith Prism RGB-koeler

When you push your Ryzen processor to its limits in a compact ITX build or a mid-tower gaming rig, the AMD Wraith Prism RGB Air Cooler keeps temperatures in check without drowning out your game audio. Its low-profile design fits where tower coolers can't, while the copper base and four direct-contact heatpipes pull heat away from the CPU efficiently. The 92mm fan spins from 600 to 3600 RPM, delivering up to 58 CFM of airflow, yet stays surprisingly quiet at just 38 dBA under load. Addressable RGB lighting on the fan and shroud lets you match your build's theme, controlled either through the included USB cable and AMD software or via a standard 3-pin ARGB header for motherboard sync.

Key specifications

• Socket compatibility: AMD AM4, AMD AM5
• Cooler type: Air cooler with 4 direct-contact copper heatpipes
• Fan: 92mm PWM, 600–3600 RPM, hydrodynamic bearing
• Airflow: up to 58 CFM; noise: up to 38 dBA
• RGB: Addressable RGB (ARGB) with USB 2.0 and 3-pin ARGB control
• TDP rating: up to 105W
• Dimensions: 92mm height from CPU surface
• Power: 12V DC, fan 0.38A, LED 0.25A

Why choose it

The Wraith Prism is the stock cooler that actually performs. It handles 105W TDP processors with ease, making it a solid choice for Ryzen 7 and even some Ryzen 9 chips in well-ventilated cases. The direct-contact heatpipes and copper base ensure rapid heat transfer, while the RGB lighting adds a premium look without extra cost. Installation is tool-free with the included mounting brackets, and the low height (92mm) means it fits in slim cases where tower coolers won't. Plus, it's whisper-quiet at idle and only ramps up under heavy load, so your system stays pleasant during long work sessions.

Ideal use cases

• Gaming builds with Ryzen 5 or Ryzen 7 processors
• Small form factor (SFF) and HTPC systems needing a low-profile cooler
• Content creation rigs where RGB aesthetics matter
• Upgrading from a stock Wraith Stealth for better cooling and RGB
• Budget builds that still want reliable cooling without an aftermarket purchase

Good to know

The cooler includes both a USB cable for software control and a 3-pin ARGB adapter for motherboard sync, so you can choose your preferred RGB method. It is compatible with popular motherboard RGB software like ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, and ASRock Polychrome Sync. The fan uses a standard 4-pin PWM connector for automatic speed control. Note that the cooler does not come with thermal paste pre-applied; you'll need to apply your own (a small tube is often included with the CPU). For best results, ensure your case has adequate airflow, as the cooler relies on ambient air to dissipate heat.
