ACT netkabel C13 - C14 wit 3 m

The ACT Powercord C13 - C14 3 m is a mains extension cable designed for stable, everyday power connections. It has a C13 female coupler on one end and a C14 male coupler on the other, enabling extension or interconnection of standard IEC C13 power leads and equipment. Rated for up to 250 V and 6 A, this three-metre cable provides sufficient reach for rack, PDU and equipment layout adjustments while maintaining consistent power delivery.

Advantages

This powercord provides a straightforward solution for extending C13 connections with a robust connector pairing that meets common IEC mains standards. The 3 m length reduces the need for adapters and minimizes cable strain by allowing more flexible placement of devices. Constructed for repeated insertion and removal, the cable supports reliable contact and consistent electrical performance suitable for everyday IT and office equipment use.

How to use

Ensure both ends are disconnected from mains power before connecting the cable. Insert the C14 male end into the C14 inlet of the power source or PDU and attach the C13 female end to the C13 plug of the device or another cable requiring extension. Confirm a secure, fully seated connection on both ends. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, pinch points and excessive tension; secure with cable ties or organisers as needed to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Use indoors and in dry environments only. Do not exceed the rated current and voltage. Periodically inspect the cable and connectors for signs of wear, damage or loose contacts; replace the cable if any damage is found. For permanent installations in critical environments such as data centres, consider appropriate cable management and redundancy practices.
