IP-bullet-beveiligingscamera Hikvision Pro Series DS-2CD2186G2H-ISU (4 mm) buiten 8MP 3840×2160 plafond/wand, 355°

The Hikvision Pro Series with AcuSense DS-2CD2186G2H-ISU is an outdoor bullet IP security camera designed for ceiling or wall mounting. It uses deep learning-based AcuSense technology to classify human and vehicle targets, reducing false alarms and improving detection relevance. The camera delivers 8 MP (3840 x 2160) resolution imaging with DarkFighter low-light enhancement and 130 dB WDR for clear images in challenging lighting conditions. Built for outdoor use, the camera is dust- and water-resistant and vandal-resistant.

Advantages

AcuSense target classification separates human and vehicle alarms from other motion events, increasing alarm accuracy and reducing unnecessary alerts. The 8 MP sensor provides high-resolution images for identification and evidence capture, while DarkFighter technology boosts low-light performance. H.265+ compression lowers bandwidth and storage requirements. The camera also includes a built-in microphone for real-time audio monitoring and robust ingress protection for reliable outdoor operation.

Suitable for

• Perimeter and property surveillance at commercial or residential sites
• Parking lots and driveways where vehicle detection is needed
• Entrances, walkways and access points requiring human detection
• Outdoor installations exposed to dust, rain, or potential vandalism

When it may not be suitable

This wired IP camera requires Ethernet connectivity and is not suitable where only wireless installations are possible. It is optimized for detecting humans and vehicles; it may not reliably classify or alert for small animals, bicycles, or non-standard moving objects. For indoor-only or ultra-discreet installations a different form factor or smaller camera might be preferable.

How to use

Mount the camera to a ceiling or wall using suitable anchors and follow Hikvision mounting guidelines to ensure correct orientation and field of view. Connect the camera to a PoE-capable Ethernet switch or injector for power and network connectivity. Configure the device through Hikvision software or a compatible NVR, enable AcuSense human/vehicle classification and adjust detection lines or zones as required. Test night performance and IR range, and tune compression settings to balance image quality with storage.

What to consider before purchase

• Requirement for wired Ethernet/PoE power—no built-in Wi‑Fi
• Intended mounting location (ceiling or wall) and suitable hardware for outdoor installation
• Whether primary need is human/vehicle classification versus other object types
• Available network bandwidth and storage capacity to support 8 MP video

Recommendations

Install the camera at a height and angle that match the specified viewing angles and recommended detection distances; use PoE for simplified power and network cabling, enable AcuSense classification and configure detection zones to reduce false alarms while keeping H.265+ compression settings balanced for retained image detail.
