How to use

Strip the outer sheath of the Cat6 U/UTP cable to expose individual pairs, taking care not to damage pair twisting required for Cat6 performance. Fit a compatible keystone jack or termination module into the junction box, follow the colour-code for pair termination and secure the connections. Place the terminated module into the box, position the box on the wall or surface, and fix it with screws. Close the enclosure to protect the termination point and verify connectivity with a network tester to confirm performance.

Recommendations

For reliable Cat6 performance, maintain correct pair twist lengths up to the termination point and use tested Cat6-rated jacks and patch cords. Install the junction box in a dry indoor environment and avoid placing it near strong electromagnetic interference sources such as large motors or unshielded fluorescent ballasts.
