Coaxconnector F-type ShiverPeaks BS85004-10AG

The ShiverPeaks BS85004-10AG F-type coaxial connectors are supplied in a pack of 10 and provide a male F-type interface for coaxial cables. Designed for audio and video signal transmission, these connectors are intended to create consistent threaded connections with compatible cable jackets and threaded female F-type sockets. The metal construction and threaded coupling ensure mechanical stability and continuity for terrestrial TV, cable TV and satellite-related cabling where male F-type terminations are required.

Advantages

These connectors deliver a compact, threaded male F-type termination that supports stable mechanical attachment and signal continuity. Their metal body offers durability under repeated assembly and disassembly, while the standardized F-type geometry provides compatibility with a wide range of coaxial cable installations and consumer RF equipment. Supplied as a set of ten, they are convenient for multi-point installations or replacement of worn terminations.

Suitable for

• Terminating coaxial cables for terrestrial and cable television connections
• Connecting set-top boxes, modems and satellite LNBs where male F-type is required
• Home AV systems and wall plate terminations
• Field repairs and small installation projects requiring multiple connectors

Key specifications

• Connector type: male F-type threaded coaxial connector
• Pack contents: 10 identical connectors
• Material: metal body for mechanical durability and shielding
• Compatibility: standard F-type mating with common coaxial cable types and threaded female sockets
• Typical applications: RF signal transmission for TV, cable, satellite and broadband equipment

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket and dielectric to expose the conductor and outer braid in accordance with the connector's installation depth. Slide the connector onto the prepared cable end and ensure the central conductor is centered and makes contact with the inner pin or contact point. Thread the connector onto the mating female F-type socket and tighten manually or with a suitable tool to achieve a secure, stable connection while avoiding over-tightening that could damage the cable or connector.

Recommendations

For reliable signal quality, use connectors with correctly prepared cable ends and confirm that the braid and shield maintain good contact with the connector body. Avoid over-tightening and inspect connections periodically in installations subject to movement or environmental exposure. When used with appropriate cable types and proper installation technique, these F-type connectors are suitable for many residential and small commercial RF cabling tasks.
