Bosch HEZ636000 bakplaat

The Bosch HEZ636000 baking tray is a stainless steel oven tray engineered to provide uniform heat distribution for consistent baking results. Designed as an accessory for compatible Bosch ovens, the tray features a robust construction that resists warping under high temperatures and simplifies cleaning after use. Its flat profile and edge lip make it suitable for roasting, baking sheet cakes, biscuits, and catching drips when used together with other oven inserts.

Advantages

The stainless steel material ensures even thermal conduction and long service life while being easy to maintain. The tray’s sturdy form reduces the risk of deformation at typical household oven temperatures and provides a stable surface for baking and roasting. Its smooth surface allows for quick cleaning by hand or in a dishwasher, and the built-in edge contains juices and crumbs, helping to keep the oven interior cleaner during use.

Suitable for

• General baking of pastries, cookies and sheet cakes
• Roasting vegetables and small cuts of meat
• Catching drips and preventing oven spills
• Use as a versatile work surface for resting hot dishes

Key specifications

• Material: stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance
• Shape: rectangular flat tray with raised edge
• Heat behaviour: even heat distribution suitable for conventional and fan-assisted ovens
• Cleaning: dishwasher-safe design and smooth surface for manual cleaning
• Compatibility: made for use with selected Bosch built-in ovens

How to use

Place the baking tray on the desired shelf level inside a preheated oven according to the recipe’s temperature and positioning recommendations. For best results, avoid placing the tray directly on oven elements. Use oven gloves when inserting or removing the tray. Allow the tray to cool slightly before washing; for stuck-on residues, soak in warm soapy water before cleaning. When using the tray to catch drips, position it on a lower shelf beneath the cooking dish to collect spills and crumbs.

Recommendations

Do not use abrasive metal scouring pads that can scratch the stainless steel surface. Avoid sudden temperature shocks by not placing a hot tray into cold water; instead let it cool briefly. Follow your oven manufacturer’s instructions for shelf placement and maximum permitted temperatures. For repeated high-fat roasting, line the tray with oven-safe parchment or a light coating of oil to ease cleanup.
